Nadia!

Nadia Ra’Shaun (AEA) is a New York City based performer and teaching artist.

Born and Raised in Omaha, Nebraska, she began performing as an elementary school student at Skinner Magnet Center, a performing arts magnet school. By the age of 9 she had made her community stage debut at the John Beasley Theater. Nadia has been seen in the US National Tour of Hairspray as a Swing and Understudy for Little Inez and The Dynamites, as well as the North American Tour of The Book of Mormon as Asmeret and an Understudy for Nabulungi. Recent regional credits include Ti Moune in Once on This Island at Arden Theatre Co., and Ariel Moore in Footloose as Meadowbrook Theatre. She is the recipient of the 2019 Omaha Entertainment and Arts Award for her portrayal of Viveca Stanton in Kirstin Childs’ The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin. Nadia’s work as a performing artist has been seen in theaters around North America, from Charlotte, North Carolina to Calgary, Alberta.

This winter, Nadia starred as Juliet in William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet at Orlando Shakes.
